help please. i took out old ignition switch on my 1990 honda crx but the new one wont go in had a mechanic come by and take a look geez he didnt know anything any way he stuck a screwdriver in the area the ignition switch goes in could that be broken the reason new ignition wont fit and yes i know its the right one annd ive replaced it twice help plz i wanted to run and gun before winter sets in

 

is the key lined up with the plastic part and is the little saftey pin going down what is the key turned too

u mean inside where cyclinder fits in also what is the ignition switch someone suggested to change that too

 

yea sorry i am thinking of the other side of that and yea does that turn. can u put a flat head in the thing and it turns. if so make sure they line up and also make sure the little saftey pin on top of the ignition is able to go down

ok where is the key posistion at i think it should be in the acc part ant it should go down if not try the next click till it goes down
