Highter rpm stall converter for automatic transmission
Levelten does, but the stall increase is only 100-200 rpms. not worth the asking price.
Also since most Hondas I deal with turh "backwards" a local tranny builder doesn't know if he can do anything with the internals of the convertor.
The stator fins and everything else is backwards. He regular takes V8 convertors, cut them apart, tweaks then, then welds then back togther.
Stock Honda convertor for one application I looked up was 2600-2800 rpms, Leveltens convertor for same application was 2800-2900 rpm.
Since the 92-95 Civic has a two stage convertor, other tweaks can be used that would be controlled by the ECU.
Look up Buick Switch Pitch TH400 for some idea on this.
