Default Pop up sunroof

Is there any way we can make our si ef sunroof glass pop up like the newer civics that allows air to come in? But open and close like a normal sunroof would.

here's a picture for reference:

i don't know about yours, but my crx si sunroof does pop up maybe an inch or so. then it goes back. if you want it to do anything else, you'll probably need an entirely different sunroof

The 89-91 si hatchback doesn't have this feature though, that's why I'm asking if there is anything I can make it work. I was thinking using an crx sunroof tray and the mechanism with hatchback glass sunroof with it, but I believe the crx roof cut out is smaller than the hatchback is.

crx is also a solid sunroof...no light unless it's open. and when it's open, you see a hole about half the size of the sunroof. i like it because it's stock, but i would be just as happy without it

yea, I know what you mean, I used to own a crx si. It just a metal roof. I'm trying to see if I can have that feature for the 88-91 si hatchbacks to have. Wondering if the eg hatchback is the same size as the ef sunroof assembly.

I wouldn't even know where to start. Sunroof tray would be the best bet.
