I have a stock b16 del sol . i got 2 1/4 piping and took resonator off. I was expecting more from exhaust noise but hardy any. Was wondering if i take off muffler is car going to be really loud? Anyone got video or anything thanks.

I just don't want my car to be to loud. Just louder then quiet .

It will sound retarded without the muffler. I would just keep it the way it was stock. Keep it clean. Unless you get a GOOD aftermarket exhuast. There's no reason to just have it loud. With the stock piping it will sound bad and obnoxious. Keep it clean.

 

when you take the resonator off it will be more raspy. not much louder though. if you take off the muffler (depending on type of muffler) it will be MUCH louder.

 

i had the muffler cut off my stock exhaust after some body kit work. it was way to loud. Dont ditch the muffler.

 

go to a muffler shop and get a magnaflo or something of that sorts put on. something along those lines will give you some noise without being crazy loud.

 

sell what you have and get a stock one.
