hey guys... i hava 2001 ITR... but the problem is... i got pulled over the other day.. and the cop was giving me crap on my tint.. and i told him that it was stock tint.. but the pig wrote me up for it... got me real mad! jus wondering guys... do ITRs come out with tint from the factory? im thinkin jus the 2001... either that... the dealer jus put that on there to make it look cool so they can get a sale..

Well, that's not completely true. They claim to have put on a very, very light tint that blocks UV rays. Supposedly has a greenish tint. I never noticed it though.

obviously your tint is not factory.

take it like a man and pay the ticket off. if you dont want anymore, fix it.

 

I don't know, but specifically on Acura'sand maybe Honda's too, on the actual window sicker, it states that there is tint on the car.

 

most cars now have green tint stock~

for uv's

it's not white,white~ greenish white~

if it's dark~ the dealer must put the film on yours

 

ALL cars have green tint glass unless they have privacy glass. It is a marketing scheme.
