Default wiring problem with wideband O2 VX engine into DX chassis

I used the dx chassis harness and the VX engine harness(VX ecu of course). Wired up everything according to helms and factory wiring diagrams, but my CEL keeps throwing codes 41(heater circuit) and 48 for the O2 after about 5 minutes of driving.

Ive troubleshot the codes both according to the helms and that worked fine, but they still come on after a bit of driving.

Any ideas? Could this be a bad gas problem?
I had about 1/4 talk of 3 y/o fuel and filled the rest up with new.

Also am running super rich too.

try and flip the 2 black wires around

do you have a ems? if so disable the o2 and just use the wideband

you mention the VX harness, and D15Z1 engine, VX engine harness and DX chassis harness.
But are you using the P06(DX) or P07(VX)? [ECU]

the P07 uses 12V from the ECU and ground on the other side of the heater. The P06 (and pretty much all other hondas) use the opposite, ground signal from the ECU and 12V on the other side of the heater.
Depending on which setup and combinations you have, it will change things around.

as far as the O2 malfunction CEL, the DX doesn't have the additional wire for the VX's wideband. (you do have a L1H1 wideband in the exhaust right?)

VX ecu repinned per the factory wiring book.

I added all the wires to make it function correctly is what I'm saying.
Theres a 4th plug on the VX engine and chassis harness, so I made that 4th plug for my DX harness and matched wires up according to the manual.

you could have a bad O2...

I'd take the time to ohm out each of the wires to the O2.
ECU - function - O2 wire color
A6 - heater control - orange
D14 - O2 signal - white
D16 - O2 reference - black
D8 - O2 signal - red
ground - yellow (runs to thermostat ground)

was supposedly working in the previous car it was in, thats all I know.
I was wondering if it was something else, since the Helms tests with the multimeter show it to be functioning properly.

One part is your right. I think there is another solenoid thing in there that has something to do with the o2. I could be wrong its been awhile.
