i was kinda speeding and went over a bad patch of road on the freeway and all of a sudden my rear view mirror fell off and i tried to catch it and it had glass on it and sliced my finger...
i was gonna glue it straight on but i need to remove the little metal thing that holds the rearview to the windshield but i cant so if anyone knows how to remove the metal thing let me know need help... cop pulled up to me at a light and saw i didnt have it and he told me to get it fixed or face a ticket...cant risk another ticket so help PLEEEEEEAAAASE thanks

 

Can't you just slide the mirror back onto the metal tab?
