Where is the FAQ / DIY thread?

I know we used to have a FAQ / DIY thread. Where did it go? Can we make a new one if the old one is gone?

Is Type X still the moderator for this forum?

If it is gone i would be more than happy to put another DIY / FAQ thread together.
