I have a 99 Accord Sedan. Bought it with a rather large burn mark on the rear passenger door. Would I need to replace the vinyl for the entire door? Or is there a quick fix for this problem.

Irfanview is a freebie program for resizing images , among other nifty features.


Most parts stores have vinyl repair kits, or call a reputable auto detail shop to find out what it might cost to repair it.

Most dealers have someone they sublet repairs out to, for work like this.

 

Thanks, I'll def take a look in the yellow pages then and make some calls. Anyone else know maybe a way i could repair it myself?

oh and thanks for the image prog, i have the progs to resize.. i just cant upload to my host, it gets sent straight from my phone.

 

tampa racing/craigslist is your friend... just buy a used whole door skin.
i found a almost swapped h22 accord with full interior and everything for 2k. (someone beat me to it) Recently i was looking and there was also a guy on tampa racing selling his entire door with interior for 40 bucks.. ill see if i can find the link.

fill it with some sort of vinyl filler and then wrap the door panels in the car with some sort of microsuede or type of fabric which you feel would give you the best but custom look.
