yeah, my buddy did this "swap" and i just had to follow suit. so i picked up a dc2 clip and the rest was history. a weekend affair really. i would post some pictures but my camera is broken...

 

this will not end well...

 

you'll need a 10mm and 12mm wrench and/or socket/ratchet. Oh, and a Phillips head screw driver. Simple bolt on.

OMG!!!!!These NOOBS cant be serious... To the OP, if you want a DC2 type R front end, get a DC2 Type R and leave the Lude alone!!!!!
