This humming could be a variety of things...Cupped tires can make this type of noise, as can bad wheel bearings, or even a bad transmission bearing.

My car makes noise when I accelerate, too... turns out its just the engine reving
j/k, I just wanted to be a dick
It could be multiple things... is everything balanced correctly in your unsprung weight?

do you think it could be the springs that came with the car, when i bought the car they said it had been lowered but when i checked the springs they were stock springs, so i guess the previous owner had cut the springs or heated them, is this what might be causing the noise??
Springs should not cause a humming noise, unless they are somehow hitting the tire as it turns or something...you gotta love backyard mechanics who lower cars by cutting the springs...good luck in fining your problem...and by unsprung weight he meant wheels/tires, braking system, and cv axles.
It could be in conjunction witht eh springs. The humming sounds more like the car is slightly out of alignment... does it shake or rattle at all at higher speeds?
If the car is lowered by cutting, then most likely it is out of alignment because they probably didn't get it all straight after the drop... that would cause a humming sound at higher speeds...
Also, check your tires, some tires make the humming because of the composition of them... hard/soft.

Alignment won't make a car hum...it will however make the tires wear unevenly, thus causing a hum...if you decide to get coilovers and lower the car more than 1.5 inches or so, at least invest in a front camber kit so that your camber can be brought back in to factory specs, as the EG/DC chassis does not have any camber adjustments from the factory. The rear will have a slight amount of negative camber, but very rarely do I see rear camber issues on lowered hondas...also JFTR, toe can be a major contributor in overall tire wear, but fortunately the EG/DC chassis does have factory toe adjustment which will be taken care of during a simple thrust angle alignment. Good luck!

yeah i was wondering that it might be the alignment issue and tires wearing unevenly, making the noise so yeah ill get the alignment done and then the coilovers with the front camber kit, this should solve everything.
