Default my $600 prelude

as you can see from the 3rd pic there is no timing belt which is the problem, i dont know much about these motors but i heard they almost always bend valves when belts snap. im going to throw a belt on it and check compression and see whats going on with it.
The crank pulley tho it giving me some serious fits. is there any tricks to gettin that boy off. i have the tool to hold the crank but its still pretty damn hard

Go to home depot, have them cut you a 4 foot long pipe, stick that on your breaker bar.

damn dude, nice pick up. Are you just going to part it out? Use it as a parts car? Or try to fix it and sell it?

I almost picked up an SH this cheap last year. But I didn't have a place to keep it.

If the motor broke the belt before vtec engagement your valves should be fine.
So if you can ask the person who bought it what gear they were in and how fast the were going you can figure it out.

Nice pick up! I wish I could find one for 600. All I want it for is the 5 lug swap for my 4th gen. I have found quite few cool cars in this price range. I picked up an S13 and a 89 supra for less than 500 each earlier this summer. Both of them crank and run too Also picked up another 4th gen for 500. All you have to do is look and wait, one will come around sooner or later.
