not sure what brake line kit when buying ss brake lines
i have a 97 civic cx with gsr front spindles/calipers/rotors and stock cx rear drums.
i am looking into buying some ss braided brake lines but not sure what kit to get.
also has anyone used the techna-fit brake lines? kinda stuck between techna-fit and russells brake line kit.
thank you

If you plan on upgrading your rear drums to disks I would do that first.
If I recall correctly. The rear drum lines are different from the disk lines and they are not interchangeable.

just to let everyone know, i purchased a complete set of ss braided brake lines from racetech performance, an ht sponsor on here, that has the techna fit brake lines. they do custom brake line kits for applications like mine.
fit perfect. ss bradided lines with a coating over the outter line as well. fronts were a little long but nothing to be worried about.

I have the Legend GS calipers on my 96 Hatch and got the Tech-fit lines from H-T sponser https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2345062
Their good stuff and they do the custom lines as well if you need, but the lines that I got is too long because he gave me customs lines.
After I installed the SS lines I was only able to mount it on the knuckle where it's held on with 2x10mm bolts and the other mount I had to cut off because the angle was all wrong.
What I should have done was use the stock EK brake line bracket and mount it like that and cut off the triangle bracket but that angle was a bit on the tight side for SS lines.
IMO all you need is regular lines for your model car with 1" extension on the fronts.

i agree, just an extra 1".
what i did was mount the triangle plastic piece to the two 2x10 bolt holes on the knuckle, then went around the coilover to the stock frame location where the hard line meets up. and i used the little single holes plastic tab to zip tie the ss line to the fork. it still has slack and it does not rub anywhere and no pressure points of bending tightly.
