I have a B16a2 that has been converted to OBD1 in my Ef after the rebuild we put it back in and now it will not get spark.

The Dizzy has power going to it. The igniter and coil have been changed.

Hell I put a OBD2 Dizzy on and used a jumper and still nothing.

What could this be I'm lost.

The starter has quit now also can this be related?

How can I check the ECU to see if it is working?

 

Switch the 2 white wires on your chassis side diizy plug thats the big round one. Just depin them and switch em.

Your statred probally took a **** because you were trying to start it so much

 

If the starter is just sitting there "clicking" it's the battery being too low to start the car.

Check your grounds, namely the thermostat ground.

 

The car ran fine before the motor was yanked and rebuilt. I see no need to pull pins on the dizzy.

The started has been going for some time now. I was thinking they might be related thanks for the help on that.

I can't remember how many and were all the grounds go.

check ur CEL n if u get a code 0 its ur ecu ?
