83hp Gain from an AIR FILTER lol
Thought you would get a kick out of this.....
Anthony over from SpeedTech was tuning a GSR over at my place today, and the first pull made 70hp, with erratic AF, and he logged 550mbar at WOT!!
LOL.... CAI was LONG and filter burried in the fender, so we yank the tube at the TBODY, verify WOT there, then make a pull with it disconnected... made 138.
Then I run home, grab a spare filter (ReActive with the inverted section and radiused entry), and Anthony goes to work on the tune.
End result 153hp.
The filter was a 2 month old RActive conical with the metal case so you can put a 4" hose on the inlet if you want... plus it was very dirty!

Yeah... DO NOT use this filter

I realize it was dirty, but you could still see light through the pleats.... and I have tested many others that were dirty and never seen anything like this.
We replaced it with this cheapie (its all I had), and it did better then open pipe, so good enough
