anybody have experience with pirelli p7000? I would like to know the good, the bad, and anything you might feel is necessary to say about them. TIA ^_^
besides here... http://www.tirerack.com and http://www.carreview.com are places to investigate as well.
what exactly are you looking for in a tire? Ultimate dry performance? Does it have to be Pirelli? I mean, if you have the money, go ahead and buy Pirelli....but if you want a steal, go with some Falken Azenis. At first I thought that they'd be crap...just a 'trend' tire...but I got a set and they've made me a believer. (treadwear is 200, so you'll get in the 15000-30000 mile range on a set)

I got the car with 17" wheels. they have 215/45's on them right now. They have a treadwear rating of 400
and paper-thin sidewalls, but oh well. I want to get tires that have a pretty thicksidewall and that grip really well. It's dry 99% of the time here, so they don't need to be that great when it's wet. I want to get something that is in the size 215/40/17 or 225/35/17. At first, I wanted to get the azenis in a 225/45/17 size, but I also want to lower my car some more, about 1-1.5 inches. Right now, I'm at stock ride height with ground controls. so yeah, 215/40/17's or 225/35/17's are what I'm looking at. Thanks.

my friend had those Pirelli's w/ his Axis Touring cups and he liked them a lot.. for the money their not bad... other good tires to consider are:
Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 ( i have these)
Bridgestone Potenza Re730
Falken Azenis
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
BFG KDW
Summitomo HTZR II
not sure if they make them in your size... but these are good tires to consider...
