Default Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Has anyone ridden on these tires or heard any good things? I came accross these tires on Tire Rack and when you buy 4, you get a $75 rebate, making the total only $253. The numbers on Tire Rack sound good but I would like to hear some opinions on this board if anyone has them. Thanks.

They look pretty good except for the snow traction. Most people get a set of blizzaks or something anyway though for winter.

hey im running on goodyears (i got a $50 giftcard from best buy for getting these ) of course these are my first high performance tires so i am not in the position to compare them to another set of tires. but from my experience of daily driving, no matter how hard i turn, i cannot get the tires the break traction. great grip. great wet traction too. just list last rain storm in s. cal, i was just wizzing back and forth in an empty parking lot and it felt as if i was driving in dry weather. i havent had the tires long enough to judge the treadwear so i really cant say much about that.

but yeah, i got flack for picking goodyears over the other brands (such as falkens, nitto, etc..) but i dont wanna be spending mega $$$ on tires every 6 months. but if you want to get them, dont change your mind cuz someone gives you flack for choosing them. haha i bet someone is bound to post "Falken Azenis ownz j00!"

so far, i give them a

I'll rock whatever's cheap and decent. Do you have any pics of the tires from the side? Thanks for the input.

Im running these 195/50 size and theyre very good, in the dry theres plenty of grip no squeal when turning hard. Id rate these as the next alternative to SO2s, they have a slightly softer sidewall and the road noise is good. I've had them for around 12months now and they have about 4mm, they also grip very well in the wet!
Id reccommend them - plus the tread looks mint!

Got em, and I like em. They have excellent wet weather traction.
