tial 44mm and 38mm springs the same?

just wondering if the 38mm and the 44mm gates use the same springs.

yes, they're the same but a spring that holds 10psi in a 38mm gate will hold like 8psi in a 44mm.

Look here for actual conversions before you buy or use a spring.
