Valve cover nut spinning
Well im taking my valve cover off to do a valve adjustment and on one of the nuts its just spinning. From what i remember that stud coming out is just that, a stud. Its not press fit or anything and just screws into the head so if the threads on that and the nut are screwed its not a huge deal. Hopefully its just a problem with them. However I cant get the valve cover off because that nut wont come off. How should i go about removing it ?
Do you have a dremel? I would use that with the cutting tool. Hopefully the std threads that screw into the head aren't the ones that are damaged.

pull up on the nut, if the stud comes up with the nut then that is not what is keeping your valve cover from coming off.
