Im new to this forum so let me give ya a bit of info: 97 DC2 GSR with stock ECU I/H/E, no other major engine work, I just bought this car about 3 months ago and it just rolled over to 140k miles...now to my problem, I just noticed a strange sound a few days ago. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm...85599
I adjusted the valves to spec and even checked them right before this video. It doesnt sound like rod knock but IDK. I just recently re-adjusted the valves warm today to get the clearances a bit closer to eliminate the valve train. I seem to have a flywheel/clutch problem aswell when idle is around 500rpms I can hear what sounds like a loose/flywheel, it goes away when i let out on the clutch in neutral. But as for the video above anyone know what this could be? I am a bit worried because I have been piecing a turbo kit for the car together and Im almost done then this happens???

As for that kit I have 450cc dsm injectors, chipped P06 eq. of a P72(w/o knock support) T04e turbo, Burn2 rom burner, Hondalog, Crome...ready as far as fuel and engine management but I still need to find out what that problem is...

you should make a vid of under the hood cant really tell from inside the car you can rev it up from under the hood if need be

 

I went and bought a mech. stethoscope and the engine sounds normal but when I put it on the exhaust header is when the noise that I was hearing without the stetho is what I heard again so I believe the exhaust has a slight leak. The DC Sport headers are a bit rusted so its most likely where the headers meet the cat or a little before....
