heres how it went
i drove a buddy to some place and left cigrette lighter in with a ipod trans to play music, took longer than i thought (30 mins or so) than the battery was dead i thought, i reversed bump started it and it turned on. I bring it home and tried to start it again and it doesn't, than i get a electric jump start and it starts up first try.
after that i attepted to turn it off and turn it back on. When i tried to turn it on it doesn't than i bump started it again works than i tried turning it off, by that time the car would not start by turning the key like it did normally. Now the car doesn't turn on and the bettery has been charged to normal and can't get it to crank. I checked the fuses that i though would fix it but no broken fuse tapped the starter and no help. it works but seems like bettery gets drained or no power to something to keep everything on. Need some help though

so it only starts when you jump it? if thats the case, mabye your alternator is messed up and not charging the battery.

 

yea i was thinking that or starter but not sure been trying everything else tho

 

get the alternator tested at autozone or whatever parts store you have there.

 

If the car stays running after you "bump" start it, your alternator should be good. Have your tried another battery? The battery could be bad from being run 'til it was out of juice.

 

it sounds like the battery just isn't holding a charge anymore. when you try to crank it over, do you hear a clicking noise? I'd try a new battery and check all of your grounds as well.
