Lets say you have a 99 civic si, and you have a **** load of money to throw at your engine. The term turbo comes to mind. But which turbo to get? Everyone has good things to say about all kinds, but which kind is the best. I'm talking top of the line turbo kit money can buy. Let me here what ya'll think.

 

I think the best turbo kits are mixed with parts from different companies. But I have heard good things about the GReady and DragIII kits. Try asking this same question in the forced induction forum. They should be more helpfull.

 

My buddy ran 13.5 in his 2000 Si with GReddy turbo and large intercooler on stock internals running 8psi!!!

All kits are CRAP!! If you have **** load of money, do a swap with built both the head and bottom end, get a custom equal length mainifold, GT ball bearing turbo, Standalone engine management system with bigger injectors and so on....

 

Custom build with a HKS GT ballbearing turbo. Mad expensive.

 

I would beg to differ Drags are decent but in my opinion fmax licks *****. Having a fifth injector is straight up GHETTO

If you have to get a kit get a Drag ......But if you got some loot do a custom kit with a ballbearing turbo .....thats tight sh*t

F-max hands down pretuned and made to make max power on pump gas and its is plug and play and has all your detonation probs worked out with either a head gasket or msd BTM and it all comes with the kit you wont get that form drag or anybody else for that price.

 

blitz kkk turbo, or import the apexi turbo made for the ctr from japan.
