Default Swapped Decks No Sound

So, I am taking my Pioneer deck from my wagon and putting it into my CRX.

I wire everything right, the deck lights up and starts playing. I connect the speakers into the rear and I have no sound. When I turn on the deck one speaker gives a little popping sound like it is about to start playing. But once the CD starts playing I get no sound.

I know this deck and speakers are good, because I was just listining to it yesterday. I checked over my wires a few times and everything is connected the right way. I did a search and everyone says it could be grounded speaker wires. The fronts are taped up so they wont touch the doors. I set the equalizer to play through a single speaker and it still wont work.

I now have no idea where to look. This is my first time putting in a radio. Ive been working on this for the past 4 hours trying to get it to work!

I actually had this exact same problem 2 weeks ago when i was hooking up my pioneer stereo.

It ended up being that the conversion wire kit i was using to hook up between the car and the radio was setup to handle 8 seperate speakers. and it just so happened that i actually by some crazy stroke of badluck hooked up the speakers to these spare lines which went .... who knows where. Anyways it took a couple trys (a few of which SHOULD have worked) but eventually it worked out just fine. and now its working excellent. I would suggest just using electric tape and trying different speakers wires. then once you find them and get it correctly setup go ahead and solder.

(just make sure you never have the key in if its not grounded >.&lt
