DEI actually makes one. I see you've already checked eBay, but have you seen this?

i knows its probably very similar, but my model is not listed.. so im going to try and find some luck on the DEI site, and see if they make one for my 50.5X

i take it back. my 50.5X RPN code is 7710X.. which should fit.. so im gunna snag it. for 15 bucks, its worth a try. thanks for the link, when i looked a week ago, didn't see it.. and he's the only seller on ebay selling leather cases, not even aftermarket.

thanks for the find.

Glad that worked out. I'm indeed not too familiar with the remotes in actual dimensions, but saw that it fit some very similar to the 50.5X. Hopefully that'll work out nicely. OEM leather'd!

yeah, i guess the SST remotes are pretty much similar is size, and they do list my model in the item description, so i hope it works out.

now, whats crappy.. the DEI site, you can't even find that item. i tried, and tried.. the directed store, and the clifford site.. nothing.

That's precisely what threw me off as well - I always dislike linking to eBay listings due to questionable quality (I've never had an issue), and prefer to link to the official sites and let users find their own store of choice. In this case, DEI seems to think they don't exist. Didn't even see these at Frys' little "we're gonna charge $80 to install this motion sensor" section.

Quick, ask the seller if he's an authorized DEI dealer and if it comes with a warranty!

Good to hear. :-) I'd join, but not too fond of leather. No carrying case for me!

Wait till you have to replace a 50.5x controler. The case really helps alot by taking the shock of a fall. I put the case to the test and it works great. fitment is nice

Its all good, I'll just unlock it thru my cell phone, lol you gotta love gps

replacement controlers depends on were you go. Ebay there like 40-80 buxs, but I seen many people by them and the range was awfull.

My Prestige 2 way remote has buttons on the side. I do not think this case could work.

Month-old bump, but eh. Make one in rubber and I'm all for it, but I'd rather pass on the texture and scent of these cases. To each their own.
