i have some 3.5" audiobahns that i got from a friend for free. They are the AS40C. Are they any good? also what would be a ideal place to put them in my hatch? i have no rear speakers cause its a dx, you think it would be a good idea to just cut a hole in that quarterpanel thingy and jsut mounting them on that?

sounds like a good idea. Just cut a hole somewhere towards the back of the vehicle. face the speakers towards the roof of the car, or towards the front of the car. The speakers should be fine, they're better than nothing right? And if the blow, then **** at least you already have holes cut for the speakers, and you can just replace them with better speakers. have fun
