hey my temp gauge is broke i NO its the gauge it self not my sending unit the dude pulled out the needle(long story) but i have this auto meter water temp gauge. and it says i have to put in this sending unit in and what not. but i was wondering if maybe i can splice the wire on the back of the gauge cluster and run that to the sending unit port on the auto meter gauge. if so what wire to splice? pictures would be awesome. i searched and found nothing on this. and i google/yahooed it aswell. thanks need to no asap.

 

if its possible (IF) you might want to check the wiring diagram in the back of most teardown manuals you just got to beable to read the electrical diagram GL

 

bump thanks but i cant find a wire diagram gonna have to wait until monday so i can get on shopkey5 or alldata if anyway already knows the wire/color or knows a site lmk i need this done asap thanks again

 

ok i think i found it. please correct me if im wrong. the yellow/green wire on the right blue connector(16 pin) is the coolant temp. now im guessing thats from the sending unit.
