exhaust question, what is this part?
I got a new cat put on today and was hoping for more power but it isnt as much as I expected. My temp gauge still goes up a bit and there isnt a hole lot of power still. I was looking at my exhaust under my car when I noticed theirs the cat thats kind of towards the front of the car but then theres another one that looks like a cat thats kind of in the middle. I was wondering what that is because if that is clogged too then maybe I should get it fixed also. It looks like another cat but Im not sure.
what kind of exhaust is it? if it's OEM or a quality after market it would probly be your resonator. post a pic of it. why'd you replace your cat in the first place?
I've never heard of anyone replacing a Cat because their car was running hot.

Sounds like the thermostat or lack of water. Or maybe a leak?</TD></TR></TABLE>
or a blown head gasket.
