ok my check engine light comes on periodically so i checked what it was and cel 43 came up..

so i looked up what that meant and it has something to do with the fuel system

i was woundering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to fix it cuz my car is running like ****!

i have a 94 gsr if that matters...

 

try running some injector cleaner

 

thanks but i tried that already...didnt make a difference, im goin to check the fuel filter now and see what that does

 

Check for vacuum leaks

 

maybe tighten the gas cap.

 

ok i changed my fuel filter and there is no difference...

checkin my vacuum lines sounds like a good idea, haha but i dont know what ones to exactly to check

can anyone else spread me some knowledge?

 

Yeah, 43 is an O2sensor code.... which means that you are most likely running in safe mode (full rich) which would also explain why your car is running like ****. If so, then you'll probably notice a dramatic DECREASE in gas mileage.
