there is more than plenty of information on this forum for you to search and this question is asked about once a week in here. ive done the research and swap myself.

it really all depends. when i was doing it i paid 500 for the tranny and i got alot of the other stuff for free from friends who had extra parts laying around. but just think about it... cost me under 1000 probably like 850 with tones of free parts.
tranny and starter
shift linkage and everything that goes with it
shifter and shiftboot
clutch
flywheel
pressure plate
throwout bearing.
clutchfork
clutch lines
master cyl for the clutch
slave cylinder
tranny mounts
manual ecu
manual wiring harness(you can use automatic one. you will have extra plugs though. its what im doing)
manual gage cluster (try to get from same year.)
alot of re wiring. for reverse light, cruise control, and starting.
also if you didnt know, the tranny mount on the tranny side, the part thats part of the car will either have to be cut off and weld on one from a manual car, OR innovative mounts makes an auto-manual conversion bracket mount you can buy. i would get the mount. i did the welding on thing and it kinda got crooked. nothing wrong but it could have been worse.
im sure im missing some stuff so do some more research, but i pretty much got you started there

sell the auto and get a 5 speed..</TD></TR></TABLE>
i would listen to this guy as well. i regret doing it. my car came out clean and everthing is how i wanted it to be. but i regret dumping that much money into a nearly 10 year old car.
and if you figure prices out. its going to be over 1500 in parts if you have to buy everything.

If it was 1994 this probably would have been a good move. IMO you're a little late with that move. I mean K swaps are getting to be old hat. If you are going to go through all the trouble to change the tranny, you might as well tear down to the shell and do a ground up build. Again just my opinion, i'm sure some people will tell you how simple it is to swap the tranny.
