Driving in my friends CRV the other day the cd was making a weird clicking noise. We tried to eject it, and after it flashed "eject" for a bit, nothing happened. We tried pressing it a few more times, but nothing happened. Then she tried to switch to a different disc...bad idea. Now if you try to play a cd, it just says error and goes back to the radio. Anyone ever had a similar problem? Is it even fixable or does she need a whole new head unit? Thanks for the help.

radio time if you have a burnt cd with the paper labels they will jam in the unit and not eject very common problem.

wow. genius. I'll keep that in mind in the future, but is there any common solution for getting burnt cd's with paper labels out of a jammed cd player?

 

yep, after you get a new radio, rip the old one apart.
