I left for work this morning, and suddenly the car looses power. The motor runs fine. Just not getting power to the wheels.

I tried putting it in first gear, and I hear a grind noise. Like the axles just spinning freely.

BUT the car goes into gear without a clutch. It won't go anywhere, but it will go into all the gears when the car is on.

Could this be my clutch went out, or a bad CV axle?

I don't have my jack with me and can't lift up the car....

Anyways, I'm tired of working on this car. If anyone is down for the job, feel free to contact me. My patients have ran out with this Civic!

99' Civic EX D16y8. 150k miles on body/tranny/possibly axles.

 

do you get pressure when you press the clutch in? sounds like it is clutch related to me - whether needing bled or what.
