Is the coolant level in the radiator low? (Check only when engine is cool)

Is the engine loosing or leaking coolant?

Is the coolant reservoir overflowing?

Does the radiator fan run when the engine is hot?

Is there white smoke in the exhaust?

everything is fine. coolant is good. no white smoke or anything. i check d plugs n dipstick no water. everything seems ok. could it be there's a problem with d water temp gauge? its raising n dropping d temp. when temp increase i off d engine. immediately after tat i start d engine water temp remains normal. could it be a malfunction gauge?

You might want to try replacing the thermostat and bleeding the cooling system of possible trapped air.

It's also possible that the temp gauge or sending unit is faulty. The sending unit has a single wire and is located below the distributor next to the coolant temperature sensor that has a 2P connector.

Here's how to test the gauge. Remove the sending unit connector and ground the wire to the engine. Turn the ignition key to ON (II). You should see the temp gauge needle move smoothly toward HOT. Stop the test before it reads max temp.
