what size is to big for crx i dont want rubbing and still want good handling

 

17's are too big, and 16's are going to give you trouble.

if you run 15's or larger, your going to have to play with tire sizes.

I am assuming you are dropped?

 

14" wheels with 185/60-14 tires
15" wheels with 195/50-15 tires
16" wheels with 205/40-16 or 195/45-16 tires

i run 205/45/16's no problem

 

nothing to small ...haha theres a crx rolling around on 20"s in my town

That size is too big for most CRXs. Note that one exception is the model sold as the del sol VTEC in North America, which I think was sold as the del sol in Japan. But most CRXs came with 175/70-13 or 185/60-14 tires from the factory, and should use 205/40-16 or 195/45-16 tires, which have about the same outer diameter. Using oversized tires like 205/45-16 will make the car's acceleration slower (like getting taller gears), will make the speedometer and odometer inaccurate, and may rub in the wheel wells.
