Default 08 Accord (Spice it up a little)

I recently changed my mufflers from stock to Magnaflow.

Thing is I have 3 resonators, I believe that is what the mechanic said, that lowers the sound of the car tremendously. What I want to know is could i have those removed, maybe one, two or all three.

Also wanted to know what can I add to this baby to increase performance and hp.

Thanks

JD

I removed them and I must say the sound is a hell of a lot better.

Accelerating its a nice sound, doesn't sound like its farting. Its smooth and eases into a quiet hum when staying a constant speed after 45 mph.

If you want to lower the db of your car then add a resonator. It drastically lowers the sound.

the '08 Accord coupe (don't know about sedan) comes with 2 resonators.

Since I'm never selling my Accord I'm going to have it repainted due tot he fact there are already way to many silver cars running around. I was wondering if anyone had an idea's on paint jobs

(I have blue underglow so preferably something that would compliment it)

I prefer silver. But if i was going to change the color i would most likely go with 2002 Mercedes SL special edition SILVER ARROW SILVER. that paint is the best silver i have ever seen. Looks like it is 4 feet thick. The best metallic.
How did you do your resonator mod?
What kind of mufflers would sound good in replacement of the factories?

I spoke to 3 mechanics at the shop about what I wanted the noise to sound like.

I didn't want that crap fart noise I hear nearly 24/7.

They told me to go with the Magnaflow (sorry about spelling)

Those 2 mufflers plus the resonator mod makes for a very nice crisp sound, and of course doesn't sound like a fart

Alright i have a question.

I bought LED underglow for my car and I had questions on wiring.

How do I get the wires from beneath car into the interior so I may have a switch to turn them on and off.

I'm about to just take it to a car electronics shop.

I would run the wires up to the firewall and enter through there somewhere. I dont like to drill holes. Try to use a hole that is already there.

What is the resonator mod? What was the part number on those Magnaflow mufflers?
