Default LS VS. GSR-Crank Difference???

Does anyone know the difference if any in the LS and GSR cranks? Are they the same stroke? The reason I asked is because I spun a bearing in my GSR block and found a kid that has an LS crank and the pistons and rods to go with it...I didn't know if these would bolt right in or if I need to pick up a GSR crank. I was thinking about just putting bearings back in it, but i don't want to risk spinning them again if the crank is scored up. I looked and searched all over this site and can't find my answer anywhere. Can someone please help me!?
Thank you!

The B18C1 crank is a shorter stroke than the B18B, which is why it has a slightly smaller displacement.

If you use an LS crankshaft, you'll need different rods to accommodate the changed stroke, but I have no clue if the GSR pistons will fit on LS rods.

I say get the ls crank and rods and use the gsr pistons. But I would spring for some ARP rod bolts when doing so. Check out this thread it will give you some more info on this:

I spun my bearing in the fourth cylinder. I was thinking about getting a diff crankshaft. So I should just keep the LS crank rite? Get it balanced too.?

Stick with the LS crank, unless you plan on going with a 92mm stroke

PM'ed,
to the OP, that link for the LS crank and rods in a gsr block was started by my buddy. His gsr and mine are both running LS internals in GSR blocks.
It's like having an LSVtec w/o having to worry about strict cops and smog here in CA.

Did you spin a rod or main bearing, if the you spun a main bearing, you might as well get a new block. To line bore the mains will cost you around $200 alone. And if it isn't done correctly, you'll have a lot more problems.

alright im running that exact setup i had the same problem about 4 months ago.
the ls rods will only work with the ls crank. it all does fit in the gsr but the oil jets in the block hace to be removed and the bolts need to be welded shut on the jets. you can run the gsr pistons if you want it will be higher comp. i m running the ls pistons on my setup w/ je rings and clevite bearings. i dropped about 4/10 th of a sec off my 1/4 mile time after rebuild. i recomend you do headstuds, head gasket, new rings and new bearings, and arp rod bolts b/c thats the weak pointe with the ls internals. i still haave 8300 rpm revs and it pulls till about 8000 you notice a huge difference.
