No one know's what will be the best for you. You have to decide that for yourself. If you want lightweight, going single is going to be your best bet. Look around, there are plenty of video clips around that you can listen to the tone of the exhaust, Everyone's tastes is also subjective to how one person defines loud. It's also dependent on how much you want to spend as well. If you have specific questions about an exhaust would probably be easier to narrow your choices down by asking owners about their experiences. One exhaust may be perfect for someone, but may not be what you are looking for.
On the other hand. I have a J's Racing 70RS. Very lightweight (9lbs) and very loud. I also waited 8 months for my exhaust to get here. If I had the choice to buy another exhaust, it would probably be an ASM 70mm titanium or stainless because the exhaust is too loud to autocross at our venues.

You are right and wrong.
The J's 70rr is a header back. However, there is also a newer version out as well; the J's 70rs which is a catback.

I wish you were local... Are you boosted? I would offer a trade for my J's dual...
I really prefer the dual exhaust but the 70mm would be much better for me if I go boost (which I am contemplating).

Yep, 7PSI on a Comptech Supercharger. I'm going to try a few things this winter to try and quiet it down a little. I may get a Berk HFC to put in for autocrosses. But I'll be done with school and moving back home, and I probably won't autocross as much after that.
Here's a clip of my car on the Dyno Clicky. Another suggestion that I forgot to mention. If you can, try to get to some meets with other S2000 owners. They may have an exhaust that you may like. While you can get a pretty good idea of an exhaust from a video clip, they still compare nothing to hearing it in person.

I love the way mine sounds! It's truly one of the best I have ever heard. I am running a stock cat right now but plan to install a test pipe when I drop the rear subframe for some work. Mine is not all that loud at this point.
