ok so here it goes.. i turn key to on position, turn heater all the way on and its blowing hard.. then i go to start the car and the car starts but heater is dead.. not blowing at all.. it will come on with the car every one in a long while.. any ideas..

 

I think you should check the ignition switch. Terminal IG2 may not be contacting properly when the key moves from ON (III) to ON (II) after starting the engine.
