I swapped out my stock fuel pump for a walbro. I started it and it ran fine, gave it a few revs too. But when i started to back up, it shut down on me and wouldnt start back up. There is no spark or fuel. I tried a used dizzy and main relay, still nothing. I dont here the fuel pump prime neither. What could be the problem??? I left it running for a good couple minutes and when i backed it out it took a **** on me. Please help. Its a dohc zc btw.

 

Sounds like a wire could have came loose while u were backing it up. check back over it

 

what wire? A wire in my fuel pump or somewhere in the engine bay?

Maybe a wire on the fuel pump bc it sounds like its not getting any power.

 

Check fuse #14 under the dash labeled alternator/solenoid..

ok fuse 14 was blown. but i replaced that and put the stock fuel pump back on. now im getting spark and fuel but still not starting!!!! WTF
