ok so im purchasing a EK coupe sohc v turbo on saturday. he claims the car needs a new head gasket due to the white smoke, but the car dont over heat??.... the temp stays perfect fine. what could be the cause?...and the breather filter on the vc is soaked in oil wtf?!?!....bad rings maybe??? if it helps any, the manifold has a crack , but i have one on the side already... and the car is running a fmu.....i've already searched and found alot of topics but none that suited my needs. any help is apreciated thanks

sounds to me you're buying somebody's elses problem/project..

 

yah that dont bother me, i have a spare sohc on the side, just wondering what could cause that so maybe i could fix it and extend the life a little before i switch it out and also dont run into the same prob in the future
