s2000 Radio into EK
I believe the 98 Civic has the longer plug while the 99-00 Civic uses the shorter one (same as S2000). You would need pre-99 Civic radio harness and make a conversion harness with a 99+ reverse harness.
My buddy has an S2k and he swapped his out for an aftermarket one and gave his brother (whom I believe has either a 96 or 97 civic hatch dx) the stock radio and it works just fine he said it was plug n play.
So yeah, here is the deal: The s2k radio is plug and play in 99-00 civics, because the harness is identical. With the 96-98 civic, the harness is different, so you have to modify it to the 00 harness. Not so hard, and I will probably do it as soon as I find myself a 00 harness.
