oke i was wondering if i can use stock ctr pistons and rods in a b16a2 motor with a a b16a2 crankshaft with eney problems need to know asap thiss will make the diffrence i got the valves springs as well for both sides so it can suport it

 

i don't think there are any problems off the top of my head. make sure you get new rings and rod bolts/bearings. i know 90% of b-series parts are interchangable.

friend of mine put CTRs in his B16a2 and had to get his stock rods machined 1mm off each side of the rod..... but yes you can put them in without any problems

 

CTR rods are too long to be used in a B16A# block, don't even try.

The B18A/B/C and B16B all use the same block height, which is taller than the B16A# by .354 in.

The CTR pistons will work with those rods, that's been done a lot.

 

Like stated, the small end of the rod needs to machined slightly. I have CTR pistons on my B16a rods, and they had to be machined.
