B16A2 Block (Installing CTR Pistons) Need Info!!
Ok, I have a B16A2. I am going to install CTR pistons. Now does any machining need to be done or do the pistons fit in with everything. Ive heard that the rods need to be machined. Please explain. Are there any differences between Type-R rods and B16 rods? Where can I purchase Type R rods?

You need to use your b16a rods. The b16b rods are too long. Have a machine shop take about a mm off of each side of the rod and then press on the new pistons. Any competant machine shop can do it. Make sure the cylinder walls still have the cross-hatch, if not, get it re-honed.
