crx cluster dont work please help

Default crx cluster dont work please help

hey whats up guys heres mY problem my buddy game me hes old crx shell straight shell so i decided to work on it .. so I bought a 89 crx si engine harness and interior harness put evrything together d15 motor .. ok evrything work engine runs no problem but the only thing that has me worried is that the cluster dosent work i bought 2 of them and none of them work i dont knw what to do I cheked all the fuses and the ecu dosent trow any codes its just the damn cluster and thats the only thing holdin me back from takin it to get it smog and on the street please some 1 HELP thanks ... i have aiM and im On all the time oNefreshprince87 on aol

did you plug the main harness into the dash harness? that seems like it would be the only problem if nothing on the cluster works

no I dont have it connected i all I really need is the temp/gas Gauge

yea Main harness is plugged in .. the tail lights work .. o and i forgot to metion the only symbol that shows is the battery one on the cluster ... but i lIke check 5 times if i had any wire unplug evrything is kOo i just dont knw what it could be ..

i had a similar problem that im still somewhat troubleshooting and no one here really seems to be any help but heres my info...the smaller grey plug for cluster controls all the lights such as the cel,oil light, turn signals etc...make sure that that harness is plugged in tightly and has no loose wires...also check any loose or unconnected ground wires under the dash...i believe there are 2, one to the right of the ignition switch and on directly on the driver side wall, if u will, by the hood latch...and be sure to check again if the #1 fuse isnt burnt...lmk wat u find
