Honda Prelude 5th Gen Speed Sensor wire
I am going to install a Pioneer Avic-D3 this weekend in my car. Can someone tell me where to find the speed sensor wire inside the cabin?
I know I could get the signal from the sensor itself but I don't really want to run a wire to the engine bay.
While I am asking questions, what is the best place/wire to get the reverse gear signal?
Thanks

So, exactly what year is a 5th generation Prelude?
For the "reverse wire" you can probably get that at the back-up lights switch at the shifter, [automatic] mounted into the transmission, [standard] although I am pretty sure the back-up lights lead is in the dash/chassis harness also.

Hi. Sorry to drag out an old thread, but I found this one searching and I need nearly the same help so I thought it wouldn't hurt to have this information together. I have a 2000 Honda Prelude Base that I am putting an Avic-Z110BT into, and I need the best location and wire color for my speed sensor and reverse wire as well for my car. Could you please check your database one more time and possibly help me out?
