Hey all, I'm brand new here.

I have a 2012 Honda Civic and after getting some repairs done my anti-theft doesnt seem to be functioning. when I hit lock on my key twice there is no honk and there is no indicator light flashing when the car is locked. I called the people who did the repairs and was told that it just needs to be reset and there should be information about that in the manual, but there isnt and I haven't been able to find anything online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you saying the doors do lock/unlock with the remote but the alarm is not arming/disarming? 94

Yeah the doors lock and unlock but the alarm does not arm. There use to be a honk when hitting the lock button twice, which no longer happens. I have locked myself in the car with the keys and then opened the door and it does not trigger the alarm, which it should.

Unfortunately all alarm/door lock functions, [among other things] are controlled by the drivers MICU unit, [part of the under dash fuse box] it means replacing the fuse box.

It's a 2012 is it no longer under warranty? 94

Oh no it is, it's just I was told that it was a simple resetting issue, but I'll just have to give them a call to have it fixed/replaced. Thanks a lot.
