Default Crower maxi-light rods

Does the weight savings of a forged set of pistons and these rods equate to much more power for my NA F23 build? Just wondering before I pull the trigger. Probably not going to rev over 7k

If your just going to rev to 7k I would just add some good quality rod bolts/polished beams. Plus aren't stock rods still lighter than a maxlite rod?

the lighter you can make the pistons and rods the easier it will be on the bearings. think about what it feels like swinging a weight on the end of a stick. that's piston weight. light pistons are not only rpm friendly, they are great on longevity of the bearings. let us know specifically what your existing setup weights and what your planned one will weigh in grams. also, what is the expected rpm range of the motor you are considering this for and did you have any problems with the stock stuff?

ARP rod bolts FTW. The MaxiLights are for high RPM duty...ie. more than 9K.
Theyre also very expensive for an F23 build. I'm assuming you haven't much else done to it...?
Either way, the pistons will make the power depending on your bump in compression, not the rods.

keep the stock rods and bolts. their more than you will need.

this build is using the stock rods and rod bolts with a 87mm bore with no problems.....so far he is at 250whp almost at 9k

f23 ftw

also what is the waiting time for those crower rods...they are very nice but overkill

sounds like overkill but, like always, it all comes down to dollars. some of the 4032 forged pistons are a good deal lighter than their cast counterparts. if you lighten up anything in the bottom end, the piston is the most important. think back to the stick with the weight on the end.
