no too expensive.. jus mock up a turbo setup. i seen a diy in project car magazine where they made it for less than 1300 i think. plus i think turbo sounds better

Do you want to supercharge your D15?
What are your goals from it?

Do you have the whole kit or blower alone?

I'd love to know how you'll be keeping up with built camaros when mine was running 12s with an intake...

You really haven't said what you want out of the car or how much you are willing to spend. Nor do you really want to or not.

Na, I doubt you'll be running 12's with just a jrsc on a single cam without nitrous.

Is it worth it??? Thats in the eye of the beholder. Which d15 you have. (jdm d15b or the d15b2 dual port injection that comes on std and dx ef's). Somepeople have made about 180whp on the single can jrsc setup with vtec heads.

I took this from Wiki

Interestingly enough, the Suzuki Vitara has a 75 mm bore as well, so engine builders have occasionally used these pistons in the D16 motor. These pistons are commonly referred to as Vitaras, and they provide an 8.5:1 compression ratio, and thicker ring lands. Lowering the stock compression ratio lowers compression heat, which raises the detonation threshold and is useful when employing forced induction. There have been reports of over 400 hp (300 kW) to the front wheels utilizing these.

So it all depends how much money and interest you have in the engine.

Then just do a mini me supercharge it and when it blows it blows. I would rather build the head some at least. that and a block guard and then supercharge it.

I'm currently in the process of supercharging my D motor. You will have to wait for the result and build thread though.

here's something for you to think, Do you want to be putting down 180 to the wheels like everyone knows already? Or would you like to surpass their expectations.

Good luck and stay tune to my build thread.
