Default Rough Idle, rough/weak acceleration...?

So my civic (motor:d16y7) has been running fine all week since i took it out of storage and put it back on the road. I just cleaned the engine today at the car wash with the pressure washer/engine cleaner, and about half way home, going around a corner, the engine starts to bog. I hit the gas and it runs super rough, and then as it speeds up it runs much smoother. I tried adjusting the timing a bit to see if that helped, and retarding it definitely made it worse. I limped the 2 km home and it would run fine only when I lightly pressed the accelerator at high (3.5-4.5k rpm). As soon as i gave it anything it would lose power and run like crap. Did I get the distributor wet when I washed it? Does anyone have any ideas what's happening

hmmm not sure. try pulling off the cap and inspect the rotor. let the whole thing dry out for awhile and then see if the problem still exists.

Pull your spark plug wires, and blow compressed air into each hole, sound like you got water in there, and its making the spark weak, and spreak with the water, and not directly to the plug. That same **** happend to me.,

hey thanks for the suggestions. I let it sit for about half an hour and then started it up again. It ran rough for the first 30 seconds or so but i revved it up a few times and it gradually got back to normal. Must have got bit of water in there. Thank god it's out!
