Default d16y8 and tranny in a 92 hatch

will a d16y8 engine and tranny bolt into a 92 hatch? I know that the z6 will but I just dont know about the y8. I have a chance to get a hell of a deal on an engine and tranny for 200 bux.

do you have to get different motor mounts? Axles? or wiring harness? I need to know how difficult this could be.

Drops right in....and depending what model hatch you have...u said 92 right....??

You can use the 92 to 95: ex/si ecu/ distributor, and injectors to make it easier to drop in and not do too much wiring...except add the vtec wires if you don't have them.......u can use any d-series axles are far as I know...

Hope this helped...
