Default help with factory radio

I got a 2000 accord v6 and I just put new speakers in it(jl audio tr series up front and pioneers hooked up out back. Whenever the radio is on there's no sound coming from them at all.what's wrong?

If all you did was replace the stock speakers with the JL Audio ones then there is probably a short to ground on one of the speaker leads or a set of leads, [speaker pos.(+) and speaker neg.(-) are shorting to each other or it could be one of the JL speakers is defective, [short in VC] any one of the above would "trigger" the HUs protection circuit.

Before you start pulling speakers check the fuses, there will be two for the HU, [switched and constant power].
If there is a stock amp, it will also have a fuse, probably a constant power.

Confirm the fuses are good, not just by looking at them, use a meter or test light, or just replace them with new ones.

If still no sound, pull the speakers one by one and inspect the speaker wiring, make sure the terminals are not touching metal when installed, [a common problem with aftermarket speakers in Honda/Acura]. 94

Thanks that helps a lot I didn't even think about if its touching metal I think that's the problem but I'll check everything just in case
